Very impressed with the work they did. Our main sewer line broke and settled right outside the foundation. This was a major problem as the line was under an outdoor kitchen, bathroom and concrete pad. 3 contractors said only way to fix it was to tear everything out and put a big trench through the concrete. These "Guys" were able to burst the old pipe and pull a new pipe through to get everything fixed in a day. Incredible. The other contractors were amazed that this was even an option. Could barely tell anything was done at the end.

Expert Catch Basin Installation in Wooster, OH
Standing water is a common problem for Wooster homeowners. Wayne County's clay-heavy soil drains slowly, and low-lying yards hold water long after rain stops. A catch basin installation from The Trenchless Guys puts a grated collection point at the lowest spot on your property. Surface runoff enters through the grate, drops into the basin chamber, and flows out through a sloped pipe to a safe discharge point away from your home. We start with a site assessment to map where water collects and how it moves across your yard. Then we excavate, set a gravel base, position the basin, connect the drainage line, backfill in compacted layers, and restore the surface. The result is a system that intercepts runoff before it pools against your foundation, erodes your lawn, or floods your driveway. If you see water sitting in your yard after a moderate rain, call The Trenchless Guys to schedule an assessment.

Catch Basin Installation FAQ
Common questions about catch basin installation in Wooster, OH.
You likely need one if water pools in your yard, driveway, or near your foundation after a moderate rain. Wooster's clay soil drains slowly, so standing water that lingers is a clear sign your current drainage is not keeping up.
Water flows from the basin through a sloped underground pipe to a discharge point away from your home. The Trenchless Guys routes that outlet to a safe location based on your Wooster property's grade and layout.
No, excavation is targeted to the basin location and the pipe trench route. The Trenchless Guys backfills and restores the disturbed area after the system is set.
Yes, a catch basin can tie into downspout lines or an existing drainage system when the slope and pipe sizing are correct. We assess your current setup during the site visit to plan the right connection for your Wooster property.
Lift the grate and remove debris from the basin sump periodically, especially after heavy leaf fall or storms. Wooster's tree canopy and seasonal storms can move organic matter into the basin quickly, so checking it each fall and spring keeps the system flowing.
Yes, we cut the surface, excavate to the correct depth, set the basin flush with the surrounding grade, and restore the surface. Proper flush placement stops tripping hazards and keeps water flowing into the basin instead of around it.
