Very impressed with the work they did. Our main sewer line broke and settled right outside the foundation. This was a major problem as the line was under an outdoor kitchen, bathroom and concrete pad. 3 contractors said only way to fix it was to tear everything out and put a big trench through the concrete. These "Guys" were able to burst the old pipe and pull a new pipe through to get everything fixed in a day. Incredible. The other contractors were amazed that this was even an option. Could barely tell anything was done at the end.

Expert Tree Root Intrusion in Wooster, OH
Tree root intrusion is one of the most common sewer problems Wooster homeowners face. Many of Wooster's established residential streets were built with clay tile sewer laterals. As those pipes age, Wayne County's glacial clay soil shifts with every freeze-thaw cycle, opening joints and cracks that tree roots target. Mature trees throughout Wooster's neighborhoods send roots toward those moisture-rich openings, building up inside the pipe until flow slows or stops entirely. The Trenchless Guys start with a camera inspection to confirm root presence, map the damage, and rule out other causes like grease or a collapsed section. From there, we clear the blockage and assess whether the pipe needs lining or spot repair to stop roots from returning. Our trenchless methods mean we work through the existing pipe path with minimal digging, protecting your lawn, driveway, and landscaping. If you notice slow drains, gurgling toilets, or sewage odors in your yard, call us before a partial blockage becomes a full backup.

Tree Root Intrusion FAQ
Common questions about tree root intrusion in Wooster, OH.
Multiple slow drains, gurgling toilets, and sewage odors in your yard are the most common signs. Wooster homes with mature trees near the sewer line path are at higher risk, especially on streets with older clay tile laterals.
Yes, we use trenchless methods that work through the existing pipe with minimal digging. Most root intrusion repairs in Wooster do not require full yard excavation.
Roots can regrow if the pipe opening is not sealed after clearing. We assess whether pipe lining or spot repair is needed to close off the entry points and reduce the chance of regrowth.
Most standard homeowner's insurance policies do not cover gradual root intrusion damage, as insurers typically classify it as a maintenance issue. Check your policy or ask your insurer about optional sewer line coverage.
A camera is fed through your sewer line from a cleanout access point and transmits live video showing pipe condition, root locations, cracks, and joint separations. It gives us a clear picture of the problem before we recommend any repair.
Yes, a routine camera inspection is a smart step for any Wooster property with mature trees growing near the sewer line path. Catching early root growth before it causes a full blockage can save you from more costly repairs.
